Excited Newbie

Since I'm about to turn 30, I figured it was about time for me to settle down and actually get my priorities in order. I wrote out my 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year goals. I even have them written on a beautiful card stock paper that I can hang in my office/bedroom to keep me in check. The first one on my 1 year list is to fall in love with God. I am a believer but how many of us believers can say we really are in love with a deity we can't see, hear, or touch on a regular basis? I have the faith but it is nowhere as strong as a mustard seed. So I enrolled in a bible study online. It is free but I did buy the book to go along with it.

The study is for women provided by the Proverbs 31 ministries for women. I found the group on Facebook and discovered what all they offer on their website. I felt it was appropriate and God sent considering the Proverbs 31 tattoo I have on my wrist. If you don't know the Scripture then please find the nearest bible and start in verse 7 of the chapter. I want to be this woman that God loves and fears yet loves God as well.

I'm excited to start this and really grow closer to Jesus. It starts tomorrow so there is still time to sign up if you would like too. I bought the Kindle version cause it was cheaper. But they have a bookstore on the site as well. I will be posting each week about my studies and you can follow along in my journey.
