I have blogged before on different and specific topics but this blog is meant for me, for family, friends and anyone else willing to Join in on this crazy adventure I call life. I hope as I add new post this blog will grow and mold itself into its own genre.
I am currently a single mother to a wonderful gift from God. He is my heart and soul. Being of two years old he is rambuctious, curious, a comedian, artistic, friendly, and all around loving. I couldn't have created a better child than God has provided me with. Even though I may not be with his father, I also couldn't have asked for a better man to help me raise my son. We share our son evenly and I know this is a foreign concept but it works for us and our son.
Some of you may be wondering about the name of my blog. It is actually an ode to my family and our past. On both sides of my family the men were moonshine runners. In fact my grandfather was on the Georgia chain gang for this reason and my cousin has recently uncovered articles of my fathers side of the family having warrants for their arrest in South Carolina for moonshine as well. Frying pans are near and dear to my heart because it always seems like the best stories, recipes, and fried chicken come from our frying pans. The women in our family actually pass down our frying pans from one generation to the next.
